Holidays in Russia are from the 24th December to the 13th January. All streets, shops and homes are decorated from 1st of Jenuary. There are a lot of parties called "Yolka" where people from theater perform a play for young boys and girls, organize some competitions and give some presents for everybody.
On the 31th December the families cook a lot of food and drink alchol. Is a day when the family is all toguether. On the 6th January they celebrate the Christmas.
